The Authentic Thai Food

Finally….I get to meet the ‘REAL’ Somtam! Haha…haven’t been to Perlis / Thailand for quite long, I really miss my favourite food there. somtam!

Thanks to Arau Open Debate Championship(my client), I am at Perlis once again to taste this authentic Thai food at Padang Besar.

There’s a few food stalls with Somtam written in their menu in KL, but I would say they are not Somtam, juz some kind of Kerabu Mangga.huehue…haven’t they know what is the taste of Somtam?how dare they put it in menu without knowing how to make it. Worst of all, they don’t even have the wooden mortar to make it! I miss the bazaar Ramadhan in Kangar where I can get Apple, Papaya & Mangga Somtam. Seriously I miss the rare & genuine food of Thailand, tho I can’t really stand the hot food. Another that I miss(only available at Thailand) :
